Welcome and thank you for visiting the Valentine -Eleebana Junior Rugby League (The Red Devils) new site, which we will endeavour to keep updated weekly. Our main aim for creating this site is to keep the player, parents and extended family and friends informed on what is happening within our Club and Newcastle Schoolboys Junior Rugby League.The club was formed in 1970 were Reg Squires was elected President and Bruce Gill Secretary. We have come a long way since then to be one of the biggest clubs in the Newcastle Junior division with 26 teams in the 2006 season.
Valentine Juniors are a family orientated Club, which caters for the champion player and the player having his first go at Rugby League.
Our colours are white jumper, with a red V, similar to the attire worn by the St.George Dragons in the NRL Competition.

Our Coaching staff are selected from what we think are the cream of the crop and their aim, although wanting to win the Premiership in their Age Group, is to ensure that each and every player is taught how to play Rugby League, which in many cases has led our Junior League players to advance through the ranks to play in the NRL.
As with all "volunteer" organizations, we strongly rely on the support of parents and friends to keep our Club running smoothly. We can never have too many volunteers, especially on Game days where we urgently need people to man the B-B-Q, set up and pull down match equipment and cleaning of the Ground at the completion of the day.
We conduct our Club Meetings on the first Saturday of each month at the Club, commencing at 5-00 pm. ALL are welcome to attend and be a part of the running of your Childs Club.
We will be holding a number of "functions" during the season and our Social Committee are in need of new people, with new ideas to provide the parents and friends of our players a fun time. Please don't be shy, no experience is required, just your willingness to assist.
